For what gun? Why would you want that? If you do that to a grip, it'll create more places for dirt to get in, particularly bad for a revolver, I'd imagine.

Ah, didn't notice it was in the AR section. Still don't know why you'd want skeletonized grips....

Probably because it can serve no practical purpose. The pistol grip is already hollow. You really cant get anymore skeletonized than that. I you were to start with a solid pistol grip and skeletonize it, you might get the look you want but it would be impractical and uncomfortable to use.

ETA: I thought he was talking about AR's

looks...there isn't any logical reason you'd want a skeletonized pistol grip other than that..(that i can think of)

I'm building another AR...and this one i simply want as a toy...not a tool like my other firearms

i just want something to blow my disposable income on...a safe queen

i plan on wasting a bunch of money on all the cool over priced parts i want...perks of staying single, i guess

Indeed, I hear that. I bet that with a drill press and an XY table for it, you could make your own. Buy a couple to account for screw-ups, or make several.

Google for the skeletonized pistol grip, there is a lot of info available there.

Actually no, there is not.
I DID do a google search for 'skeletonized pistol grip' and there is literally nothing.
There are threads on how people make their is own. And there are links to lower receivers that are skeletonized. But that's it.

Theres no links to midway, or cheaperthandirt, or brownell's, etc. for me to find a skeletonized pistol grip to buy.

I can't even find a place to buy Jesse James' skelly pistol grip.

Yes, this is true. I coulddddd do it myself. But I'd rather be lazy and buy it.
Besides, I was hoping for one that's forged aluminum or something of that nature.

I wasn't even aware they made aluminum grips for AR's.

I'm not exactly sure what metal they use...
But I basically want one like the skelly grip on Jesse James' guns.
I know it's not plastic, just not sure what metal it is.

And I understand some of you may think it's rediculous...
Remember she's going to be a safe queen...
A toy not a tool...
All my other guns are tools...I want this one to be rediculous.
