I've been seeing a lot of issues regarding a weak firing pin strike on the Sig Sauer Mosquito. I have a theory that the rebound seat on the hammer strut is too large or the actual hammer notch is too small, causing the hammer to encounter too much spring resistance too early in its travel, weakening the strike. Am I completely off-base? And/or has anyone had any real-world experience with fixing this problem? Image attached for reference. Thanks in advance.
