Picked up a new Kahr TP45 a couple of days ago for $425 plus tax. Came with 3 mags and Kahr has a deal for a 4th one free with each new pistol purchase until 9/30

While a Kahr DA trigger isn't for everyone... I happen to like the smooth, predictable feel. (I've had two Kahrs previously) I am also a fan of the sights

Range report to follow. It does fit my 1911 holsters as well.

The grip is long... so concealing this requires more attention than other guns I carry.

Capacity: 7+1
Operation: Trigger cocking DAO; lock breech; "Browning - type" recoil lug; passive striker block; no magazine disconnect
Barrel: 4.04", polygonal rifling, 1 - 16.38 right-hand twist
Length O/A: 6.57"
Height: 5.25"
Slide Width: 1.01"
Weight: Pistol 20.8 oz., Magazine 2.4 oz.
Grips: Textured polymer
Sights: Drift adjustable, white bar-dot combat sights
Finish: Black polymer frame, matte stainless steel slide
Magazines: 3 - 7 rd, Stainless

I Like kahrs and had 4 of them . A couple hand surgery's caused me some strength issues and trigger finger issues in general . Could not pull the long stroke smoothly for very long !! So a daughter has my cw9 and her husband has my preferred carry a tp40 as there EDC's . Another son-in -law has a ct45 I bought use to shoot up ammo with after selling my 1911 . Still have my cm9 as no one wanted it ! but does not get shoot much today . Turned out the 45 has the best stock trigger pull for the group at 4lb 9oz . I set up the 45 kahr to use some old 1911 8 shoot mags I had . I needed a small 3/32 notch cut out of the bottom front of the grip so flat bottom and most plastic bottom 1911 would seat fully . Then the top of most 1911's have a rounded area in front of the feed lips that most be cut so it does not hit the slide , rack the back and lock , insert 1911 mag and you'll see where it hits when you try to ease the slide forward .

Any how great shooter .

Enjoy your TP45 . That's a great price by the way .
