I'm looking at a 99c in 7mm-08. It's my bucketlist gun. My Dad had a 99c in .243 when I was a kid, and I always envied that rifle. Wondering if anyone has ever seen an extended magazing for the 99c?

You have a very desirable Savage 99. The 99C was the only model of 99 sold in 7mm08, and only for a few years in the 1980's with very low sales. I've been seeing really nice ones sell on the used gun market for $1800 to $2200 over the last year or two.
The 7mm08 was available in the 99C V2 S7 (Version 2, Style 7). This later 99C variation featured a detachable magazine, 22" round barrel, finger groove forearms, recoil pad, monte carlo stock, cut checkering, rear Williams sight and hooded front sight.
Might think twice before selling it, it's one of those that is very hard to replace if you decide you miss it. I hope this helps.

I just did a fairly good search of the net & various supply places and found no Savage 99C extended magazines for sale .
All I found were 4 round box magazines in many calibers ... 308 , 250 and 243 but nothing in 7mm-08 and nothing "extended"... Looks like 4 round magazine is it .
How many "rounds" you looking for ? You could buy an extra 4 round magazine , load it and keep it in your pocket ... that would give you 8 shots !
When it comes to hunting deer & hogs my Dad say's " Boy ... you got to make the first shot count ... after that first shot ... you just pissing in the wind . "
