What is your favorite gun manufacturer? If you cant just pick one, leave a list and explain why you like them.

I guess if it is judged by the most guns in my collection, it would be Ruger. Never intended it to be that.

I really like Smith & Wesson's story (I have 2 of them). Taken over by a bunch of socialists bent on holding the rest of the industry hostage. But then the company was rescued by the rest of the industry by use of a poison pill.

But i have to pick Springfield as my favorite since they are my hometown boys.

Star, best value/quality blend there ever was. Too bad they're now out of business and extremely hard to find parts for. I'd have almost everything they produced of it weren't for that.

If we're talking current production manufacturers... probably going to be Bersa or S&W, with a very close Taurus and Ruger!

I'm a big fan of Beretta, probably my favorite. I've only owned one but you couldn't make it jam.

Every one of my guns is made by a different manufacturer, so I guess I like em all:D

I've not been around the block enough to really judge anything like this. I like my two Rugers. I like them A LOT. But that Sig...........there's just something about that Sig.........

Mine would have to be every gun manufacturer I buy!!:D. If it is quantity then it is Ruger. I don't have a favorite because I buy what I want and not by company.;)

I suppose I have a pair or SIGs and a pair of Berettas for a reason. :)

1. Ruger, I've had my Mini 14 for 30+ years now and it's been solid and reliable for all that time. Had a 10/22 for 34 years and it was very reliable, one of the saddest days of my life when I had to sell it.

2. Colt, owned 2 Combat Commanders (at different times), really love the Commander would love to get a replacement.

3. Savage, they build a nice rifle, I had one and it was capable of shooting far better than I could.

Apparently my favorite (not handguns but overall) are custom gun makers, one in particular, but commercially it has to be Browning. Boy do they orchestrate some nice arms!

Probably have to be Ruger...because of the quality, price and ergonomics. Haven't met a Ruger yet that doesn't feel good to hold or shoot. Also Springfield Armory...Barrett...Sig...FN...and of course the Colt 1911A1

There's just something special about a Smith & Wesson .357 Combat Magnum Revolver (in my case, Model 19-3, born December 16, 1970).

The majority of my guns are Rugers. But all of my Rugers have had cosmetic changes made to suit me, so they have never produced what would be my favorite gun right out of the box.

The only one that has done that is Uberti. I have threee Ubertis all of which are box stock.

Colt may be onto something, if I ever see one and get my hands on one, the New Frontier in .44 Special. And, Colt does have an unsurpassed .45 Auto pistol.
