Hi everyone! I wanted to pick up a new pair of BUIS to replace the magpul ones that came on my Spikes AR-15. I'm pretty set on a pair of Troy folding battle sights but now I see there's a couple options so I wanted to get some input from you guys. Have any of you tried the di-optic sights? Is it more difficult to sight in with the front sight post or should I just stick with the regular round reticle ones? (only need the rear sight I have a front FSB)

There has been a trend toward fixed rears like what Daniel Defense offers but I prefer to flip mine out of the way. The FSB doesn't bother me as I really don't notice it like I do a fixed rear. They Troys are great. I use the old school round aperture w/o tri.

I second that choice. Troy is outstanding. Old school for me too, although the others are a bit intriguing.

Thanks guys I guess I'll just pick up the regular one then, for some reason everyone chooses the old ones and I don't wanna buy the new ones and regret it "/

Personally I like an A2 fixed in front and a folding rear. Troy would be fine and the MBUS is a bargain.

There's something to be said for the old school carry handle or an A4 carry handle cut down to expose rail for an optic. You just don't get a tougher BUIS!

Been through mbus, troys, troy doa, mi, and diamondheads.

If you can change both front and backs I like diamondheads.

With a fixed fsb, I like troy doas.
