Here's video of Motor Yacht Yogi slipping away.

    [ame]www.YouTube.com/watch?v=KZgdrGTkzAY[/ame]

    A 204 ft., $39 million craft.
She was launched in 2011 and sank in Feb. 2012 in the Aegean sea under what some would say we're questionable circumstances.
It's about a 2+ minute video from the Greek rescue copter.

When they say questionable do they mean insurance fraud?

    Jon, it was 39 million.
And theyre French. I don't have any idea what Yogi means in French.
    Probably "thieving bear". :D

Hey, maybe 'gello was in the area at the time. Hmm.

Yep. The French inquiry just ended, and they found no reason to blame the crew.
It was reported that the vessel lost all power but if you watch the video, all the lights are on and the bilge pumps are STILL going.

The Greek Gov't. isn't happy with the report and is considering their own criminal investigation.
The sinking was in Greek waters.

just my thinking as i don't have a lot of knowledge of maritime law, but the vessel was French and if it was sabotage and insurance fraud, would the Greeks even have jurisdiction over the sinking of the vessel?

I'm not up on international maritime law, either but I think the Greek Gov't feels that their Coast Guard was at risk during the rescue, so they might have some room there
Also, one of the principles of Proteksan(a Turkish company) committed suicide days after the sinking.
