I'm looking for a rougher grip for my xds? Any ideas
Get some plain plastic grips and stipple it
Powder river does stippling, but I personal think it looks horrible tho
Found a grip... works great
I looked the powder river stippling and I don't care for it but I think I will try out the talon grips ...
New talon grips...
I love the Talon Grips on my Nano. It really made a huge difference when taking follow up shots. The front strap checkering on the Nano is rather aggressive and the TalonGrip gave me a great texture for a confident grip.
Is that the rubberized ones?
Yep. Very happy with it.
Talon grips on my xd9 sc. They are sweet!
I've got the Talon Grips on both my LCP and my EDC XD-40. The fit is perfect, and they've been on over a year with no evidence of wear or peeling.
If you're going to be carrying concealed, I'd recommend the rubberized texture. The granulated is known to be a bit abrasive on skin and clothing, and tends to print more. For range work, the granulated is probably preferred.
After having the granulated talon grips for my edc I've found out they are very abrasive on the skin... so I've ordered the rubber talon grips... will post a pic when they get here...
Abrasive to your hands when shooting? Or when carrying? I haven't tried anything but the rubber ones so I'm curious.
Carrying.... I loved the grip while shooting but carrying was uncomfortable... and it would hang up on my shirt... the rubber ones are really nice... just got those on last night
Absolutely love the rubberized Talon Grips. As said above, the sandpaper texture is very rough on the skin when carrying IWB.
Diddo on the rubberized talon grips... love these all around
