    I just can't believe they buried them like that. I've been digging in the back yard for like 10 years now looking for a tank, he'll I'd take a bmg, but no such luck.

    Sounds like the P38 Lightning they found under 60 feet of ice somewhere in the arctic...i dont recall exactly where they found it. They said it was ditched in WW2 and left when the crew was rescued. A rich guy bought it and had it restored. But the amazing part was when they got to the plane and were checking it out the nav lights all still worked.
