WW1 trench uncovered in France

    that is just awesome. i love history... really liked the pic of that rifle... is it me or does that look like a mosin

    Thats pretty cool, i wished that they would have shown some of the bodies though.

    The rifles are KAR Mdl. 98 7.98X57 German Mausers. The most interesting thing was the closed holster for a "Lang Luger Pistol". These Lugers were issued to Artillery crewmen.:) Great post enjoyed it.

    I was hoping to see some fossil bodies too lol! Amazing how some stuff like newspapers were preserved.

    Thats amazing. I can't believe how well everything was preserved. A lot of those leather holsters look like they could just be cleaned off, and still used.

    Looked like they where planing on staying for sometime to dig-out and make all those trench's ...That would of took alot of time...Very-Cool-Pictures.........
