This should be fun. Feel free to ask your own questions.
For all your handgun needs, would you rather have only revolvers or semi-autos?

Revolvers for me please. With the exception of a .22, autos just bore me to tears.

This would have been interesting if set up in a poll thread.

    For me, I like semi-autos.

I've always been a revolver junkie which is kinda odd for my generation apparently. But yeah, DA revolvers only for self-defense and SA revolvers for everything else!

That would depend on what your intended use of the hand gun is.;) I use both!:D But to answer your question, if I was restricted to one or the other I will take revolvers.

Now that factory ammunition has improved immensely these days, I'll go with an auto that holds at least 12 rounds in the magazine, with two more full magazines in pouches.
And then for "in-close" work, my custom, imported "Leeever-action" toad sticker, by master knife assembler 'Wing-Chan-Bing-Bang-Su':

Yeah, semi autos for me too. As much as I love revolvers, gotta go with autos.
Next question, use only 9mm or .45 ACP?

During the warmer months I carry a Ruger LC9, but when it's easier to hide under heavier cloths, my .40 S&W caliber Glock gets the call. No hammer to catch on 'stuff', and no safety to worry about.

    Maybe this? :)

The Mateba Model 6 Unica (often known simply as the Mateba or the Mateba Autorevolver) is a recoil operated semi-automatic revolver, one of only a few of this type ever produced. It was developed by Mateba, based in Pavia, Italy.

In the pistol department: Three .22 semis and two .22 revolvers: pretty close. All other pistols are semis.

In the long-gun department, semis far outnumber the pumps/bolts.

So I guess I'm a semi kinda guy, even though I love the others, too.

Ah yes, good question, I certainly enjoy a .45 chambered 1911. So if I could only use one or the other, I choose the .45.

For surving in the wilderness, would you rather have a 12 gauge shotgun or .22 rifle?

That is a tough question. But since the last carry gun I bought was a 5 shot 44mag...I guess I will say revolver. I would really miss my M&P for IDPA. But I compete with a 629 sometimes just because I can. Heck I even beat some of the auto shooters with it. My wife competes with a 66. She is a revolver girl all the way. She has a J Frame in her purse right now.
