Wow. You've got to be kidding.
The bullet for that sumbitch is 3600gr.
The rifle weighs 85lbs!!!
Why?!?!?!?!?! Is my question.
Why you ask? I have one word for why; Manbearpig
Ok--have to pick a few nits here. It's not the largest bore centerfire rifle. That honor
would go to something with a bore measured in inches, and be "crew served".
It isn't even the largest bore shoulder fired centerfire rifle. There are plenty of
4 bore and even some 2 bore rifles out there, both vintage and modern, that have it
It IS one big rifle---I would jump at the chance to fire a couple
of rounds through it!
how about this one? is it considered a centerfire?
*shrug* maybe largest non crew served?
I dunno, just thought it was ridiculous and neat at the same time, and is the largest non artillery I've heard of.
I would call it a cost effective tree removal service
It's certainty one of the largest "Holy sh!t is he actually pointing that at us?" guns out there.
Yup--and it's BIG, but the bore is only about .780. There are still quite
a few Solothurn and Lahti 20mm semi-auto's out there. I've shot the
Solothurn. Long recoil action and a decent muzzle brake, not bad to shoot.
I know this isn't the largest or fanciest, but it is damn sure the coolest!
That might reduce the challenge of dove season a bit.
What about this????
