    dad had a bunch of rigid tools. is it part of one? this is heavy.
    or, looks like it threads on to something. im thinking scafolding?

    its a clevis for the the end of a hydrulic cylinder

    what does a hyd. cyl do? whats the application?
    im thinking snow plow?
    its all dad would have had that was hydralic.
    or...he played with turning his pickup into a dumper.

    we run them on our loader trucks for heavy lifting. the clevis point allows for pivoting.

    when we buy new cylinders i have got them orange an also black but we paint them yellow,i also am not sure of any other company that has those colors though.

    im gonna hold on to it. im gonna keep it in the barn. maybe it ll come in handy for the farm tractor some how.
