world famous bobski mystery thing, pic #259

    brass fittings of some sorts. one end is threaded 1/2 way down the ID and one end is for a rubber gasket on the OD. other end is threaded. it looks like something garden hose related.

    For $20 bucks I'll send you a starret 12 inch scale with hook. plus shipping..........lol............also have tape measures that read in inches............................and if you need to get the nitty gritty, i have a starret 3 foot scale reads in, hell i can't see the markings.........Oh 64ths of an inch............. lol...........:eek::D

    One dia. smaller than the other, one fits the nozzle, the other the hose. the hoses didn't last. the brass last a lifetime.........See mariner equipment........Have brass will travel...........:eek:;)

    not firefighting equip.
    i was a firefighter. its too small.
    i have real nozzles on my display wall. they are huge compared to this.

    It changes from iron pipe thread to garden hose thread. If it is threaded internally it is 1/2" iron pipe to male garden hose.

    inside seen from threaded end.
    if it was for 1/2 pipe w/ ID threads, the OD threads should be on the other end. OD and ID threads are on the same end.

    So, one end is not threaded but grooved, and if thats the case you have parts missing that would suggest one clamp on either side that held it to gether. My son has something sim. on his work bench......

    yep. its like this.

    left end OD - threads
    right end OD - gasket grove
    left end ID - threads 1/2 way down
    right end ID - smooth 1/2 way down

    Like from a galley sink or mop sink to garden hose..
