    Universal brush............

    The go to brush, to many uses to mention......Used on twalets before plastics..............

    its only 6" long. kind a small and close to the project.....dont ya think? the brissles are steel. im thinking copper pipe prep for soldering.

    Looks like there is a definite pattern of wear in the bristles. Maybe a band saw blade cleaned?

    the pic isnt good but the brissles are half dome.
    the wire is a 1/2 circle.

    Metal brushes.........

    Is there any oily residue on the brush. looks to be a brush that was used for cleaning parts in a machine shop. Way back when, as a manual machinist, recutting Hydrill connections this would have been usefull for cleaning the threads before recutting........You would have the brush in a container filled with solvent, as the connection turns in the lathe you would apply the brush and remove the pipe dope..............Dirty job.............:)
