A recently widowed neighbor found a Winchester 92 in one of her closets. Did not know it was there. I have not had a really good look at it in good light but it is 44WCF with an octagon barrel and it is a take down. I told her to leave it alone until she can get it appraised. She was thinking of having it cleaned. Not much blue but it looks sound and unaltered. I am guessing at $1k or better. She also found an Arisaka but the mum is gone and the butt stock is cracked badly.

I put this in the wrong spot. Could this be moved to C&R?

Good advise on the '92. The arisaka stock is most likely a 2 peice buttstock. They were made that way because of wood shortage and low quality wood.
