I got this from the Shooting Wire, From Fri. 3/1

Wilson Combat Announces Anti-Gun States No-Sale Policy

Wilson Combat of Berryville, Arkansas announces it will no longer provide any products or services to any state government imposing legislation that infringes on the Second Amendment rights of its law-abiding citizens. The policy extends to any law enforcement department, its officers, any state government or employee of such an entity, as well as local municipalities imposing such infringements. Six states, the City of Chicago and Washington, D.C. are currently on that list.

I agree with locutus, WC is some of the best out there, but how many of the listed could afford their very expensive products anyway.

You don't need to buy a Supergrade to use their magazines or other 1911 parts.
Their ARs, while not exactly cheap, are pretty much in the same range as some of their premium competitors (Larue Tactical, LMT...).
How about a Match grade barrel for your Glock?
Wilson sells more than premium 1911s. Visit their site, you might be surprised at the quantity of stuff they sell.

HURRAY!! FOR WILSON COMBAT THERE ARE SOME COMPANIES WHO HAVE SOME KAHUNAS!
AND FOR BEING LOYAL TO AMERICAN GOD GIVEN RIGHTS!
IT IS ABOUT TIME "EVERYONE" STOOD UP FOR THE CONSTITUTION AND OUR SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS!

*As for me and my Company we also are refusing to conduct LE and Govt. classes in several of those states at this time! And have advised several of our position. If they do not want to respect America and respect our Rights! They do not get American Classes! "FT!" We do not need their liberal, socialist business. And it will not hurt us a bit!
    We shall defend!
GOD BLESS WILSON COMBAT FOR THEIR STAND!

Publicity stunt if most of their sales were government agencies their morals would go out the window. Apart from that someone else will supply what is needed.

Let's get real here it won't happen.

Going by the response on this forum their publicity is working. Great marketing by Wilson combat .

    Atta boy, Wilson.

I just happen to have one of the largest orders of Wilson parts I've ever placed en route as I read this.

Hearing this just steps them a little higher up that ladder of honour in my reality.

The battle lines are taking sides, even among members here.

Anyone not wanting to FULLY support the Second Amendment, and those that support it, please leave, and don't let the door hit you on the way out!

This is exactly the point I have been trying to get across! We have to 'live' our commitment! Those who are in business are there to make a profit so for them to do something based on 'right' rather than profit is a BIG DEAL! I personally can't afford their products, but I would ask those who can to support them!

I have followed Jim Wilson's life and I admire him for standing up to the plate. I also have several of his products and one day I will have his .38 Super(drool). However, I stand by my original statement (modified slightly) "How many of the OP's LISTED people or organizations have the budget to buy from WC."

It would be nice if glock would be next to do something like this. Seeing as how most LEO's carry glocks.

Quoted or truth. Maybe buying completed guns is out of reach for anyone looking for parts they are by far not out of reach. PDs and other agencys have armors that work on officers gear. So they have one less place to look for parts.

I don't think it's just marketing. There are companies that did sell a lot to PD or other gov agency that wont now. I'm sure Barrett made a lot of money off law offices that they don't now. I'm glad to see any other company that is willing to join the cause.
The best way to hurt a company is by attacking their wallet. So the "other companies" willing to cross the picket line so to speak should be noted and not supported by the civilian sector. While companies that are willing to stand with the people should get our support. Sure there will be someone that step in for the feds, but all wont. And it's those companies that I will do business with in the future. The civilian gun market us huge. I don't think I'd want to lost that business to keep one gov contract. It has to effect profit.

    doesnt matter.

taking the stance of no sales to national socialists is what matters.

BTW, yesterday I bought two of his mags for my 1911's.

Another BTW I also watch religiously the show he sponsors, "Tac TV" with Larry Vickers and Ken Hackathorn, my favorite firearms personalities.

I think it is more about the solidarity then anything else. Not many could, but you might find some either high enough in the state's food chain, or with their own personal wealth who could afford to. Now they have to find a way to do it out of state.

    Good for Wilson.

The large publicly traded companies like Ruger and S&W would be open to stockholder law suits if they did this, so we need the smaller, self owned companies to do so.

Now we need Kimber to move out of NYC, and Remington to move out of New York State. Bennelli to move out of Maryland would be good also.
