He's beautiful. I had a horse for many years when I was younger. I'd love to get another some day.

Beautiful animal, but built for only one! Guess you're buggin in! :D

Saw a 6 year old Arabian Mare on Craigs list the other day in the Barter section. The ad said "Will trade for anything that doesn't eat or poop!"

    LOL

no he is harness trained and does real well pulling wagons and carts. he would do fine as a plow animal too.

    Nice mule.

My daughter is the proud owner of a Gelded Quarter horse. She shows him in 4-H and local fun shows. I climb on him now and them so he will appreciate a little girl as opposed to a big 'ole middle aged guy:D

I know one thing about horses.

    They make great dog food.

Just a reminder is SHTF and it's zombies, keep away from the horse.

QFT there. We got rid of our two horses just in time. Plus, now there's a drought in Texas, so feeding them will cost even more.

19 or 20 hands is HUGE! Most Thoroughbreds average probably 17 hands.

That ^^ coming from a background and family of rodeo people and ranchers, jeans, western boots, belts and big buckles.

Horse, mule, and burro, my go to pack animals and transportation of the backwoods and mountains if SHTF. Whether their mine...or I have to "requisition" someone else's. YMMV

I'm not a fan of those jogger horses; i'm all cool with one who is more of a power walker. At least until tempurpedic starts making saddles & cups.
