I am a serious gun collector and historian. A couple weeks ago my house broken into and all my guns were stolen. The police recovered all of them and only one was severely ruined. well after that I've decided to add another gun to the collection and this time I am having trouble deciding what to get. I really want an odd one and since I own so many I was hoping you guys could help narrow it down a little any ideas.

    That would be awesome.

What was the gun that was damaged in the robbery?

How about a kriss vector? A new gun but not something you see much. It is a very different gun than most.

Purchase the book "Firearms Curiosa" by Lewis Wynant.

Browse book. Pick gun. Patiently wait for one to show up for
    sale, purchase.

    Some likely candidates:

    Jossylen chain pistol
    Phillips two cylinder revolver
Any of the various harmonica guns

Is there any particular area of firearms design or period
of firearms development that you are interested in?

How about one of Samuel Colt's first revolvers. The cheap, bad, just horrible guns. But think of the historical value.

With such a large collection you couldnt donate some of your less used guns to a person woefully lacking in fancy firearms :p could you?

How about a Liberator pistol. It was a single shot pistol intended for the french resistance in WWII. I think someone makes a replica of it now but an original would be cool.
