    Can your rifle do this???

I'd like to get ya'lls thoughts on this brand, and if this kind of reliability is common in other brands.

    Thanks guys!

I most AR15 type rifles with a heavy barrel and short stroke piston design will past that test.

Now if the US Military was testing it I would like to see the results versus others like the ACR and SCARs.

The ACR? They wouldn't even have to order it in select fire to get the select fire option lol.

Pardner, if I find myself swimming with a rifle, something has forced me WAY outside the original plan....

And I don't "play" anything...much less army. Whatever the hell that means.

Turtleman is one special dude. I can only imagine how short the bus he rode to school was. Although he does have a show, if you can call it that.

ill take a Direct impingenment gun any day of the week.

M-4A1 Firing Test - Video Library - The New York Times

this was a test to fail. it finally failed at the begining of magazine number 31!! the gas tube popped. it still continued in manual operation!!

i dont think a piston gun would go a full 30 mags on full auto. 3 round burst doesnt generate heat as fast. pretty much any decent ar15 or m16 will run through water and mud.

I'll bet that SOCOM has tested the piston guns just as hard as this and more.

I like my direct impingements too but the piston guns have proven they can keep right up.

Owning both types I can see the advantages.

I just dont like the added weight that the piston system produces.i shot my friends Sig 5.56 and the weight difference was signifigant

The Sig is a pig. Don't use that heavy thing to draw comparisons.
