All these politicians that are trying to pass gun control legislation are basically breaking their Oath of Office to Uphold and Defend the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights. Why, oh why are they not being taken into court over this and tried for treason? If we broke a law we'd end up in court, shouldn't they end up in court as well?

    They are above the law.
They are exempt from laws that rule us.
What we would be punished for,
    They,
    and
    it seems,
    their hollywood friends
    can get the free pass.

So when they pass laws that take away our Rights it's NOT Treason? If it's not then I sure as heck don't know what is then.

The OP needs a deeper understaning of the law, in general, and treason in particular.

Two sides to every coin. What you call treason their constituents call doing their job. While the Supreme Court often gets the final say on what is Constitutional the laws go through many iterations to get there.

The people passing the laws don't see it as taking away your rights. Treason is a willful act of betraying the country and its citizens. While I'm sure some people feel betrayed I will not assume that these politicians are acting with malice in their hearts. Everyone likes to believe their intentions are good and while their actions may say otherwise I'm sure all of the anti-gun politicians believe they are acting for the good of the country.

Stupidity and ignorance are not treason.

I'm not saying there aren't people out there who would like to take away our rights and basically rule over us. However, I cannot prove that is the case, so I will not outright accuse anyone of treason lightly.

That doesn't mean I am not pissed as hell by their actions.

Of course treason is being committed, from the top down. The fact that Hussein Obama has not been impeached and no-one else has gone to jail is another issue. Congress has no backbone to keep or use its power. Even the Republicans in the House are apparently collaborators. But don't confuse inaction with legality.

When the founders wrote the Constitution, they had to do so in secret. This is due to the fact that they were committing treason since the Articles of Confederation was the law of the land at the time.
If just writing the Constitution could be considered treason back then, then why shouldn't creating unconstitutional laws, violating rights, and pushing for more rights to be taken away be treason?

If you look up the constitutional definition of treason, it's far more stringent than the dictionary definition.

Therefore, unfortunately, it's easier to impeach a president than to convict a person of treason.

That doesn't mean they aren't traitors, as the dictionary defines treason, and as most of us underrtand it, it just means ya gotta find anther crime to charge 'em with because of the restrictive language in the constitutional definition.

I believe it does not fall under the conditions of treason. But does fall under the definition of crimes. They should instead be thrown out of office and put in prison.
They talk about terrible situations involving guns. And there is little doubt the in fact they were an atrocity at the hands of mentally ill people.
Does that not mean that Operation Fast and Furious was any less of an atrocity. The same people Obama, Clinton, Holder and company who orchestrated and were responsible for one of the most devastating gun crimes which took "Hundreds" of lives including our own Border Patrol Agent. Are the ones wanting to attack our Second Amendment Rights. We must remember it was not a drug cartel issue it was intentionally implemented to further gun control on us. And prove Hilary's previous claim that all the illegal guns were coming from the USA. (Damn well were, at the hands of the US Government) And to promote the need to join the UN's Small Arms Weapons Treaty! Only it backfired and they got caught with their hands in the cookie jar. (Responsible for Illegal Gun Trafficking and Murder!) There today is little doubt that some of those weapons are still killing people as we speak!
Those that have any intelligence at all should be ware of the future ramifications of messing with our Second Amendment and Constitutional Rights! Many we are dealing with have the mentality of the Mayor of New York and others! Remember Large Cokes and Pepsies will kill you! Similac should be taken off the shelves so all new mothers will breast feed! So we can not expect them to do anything logical or for the good of the people or our Second Amendment Rights and Constitution. They are only interested in their personal agenda.

Then probably most presidents are or were guilty of treason for supplying arms to our enemies at one time or another...
