Who makes what?

Anybody have a list of who gets their lowers from what manufacturers? I keep reading that brand X is the same as brand Y, just stamped with a different logo. This is my first AR build so I am just trying to figure out what I can do to save a few bucks.

haha its rough being a poor highschool kid :D

just kidding, but i wish i could spend less time deciding on what to spend my money on and more time enjoying what i do spend it on. :(
If you want to save $$$$$$, buy the lower and upper separate. There's a manufactoring tax you have to pay when buying a complete rifle. They apply to everything from washing machines to DVD players but you save bout 100 bucks if you buy the two separately check on that seriously
yeah im buying a stripped lower and building my AR. its just that there are so many choices and so much information out there it is taking me quite awhile to decide what it is that i want exactly.
