.380 acp sucks, compact it ain't, and obligation of carry are some of the most informative. The reviews are awesome too. It's pretty much nutnfancy talking about the gun IN DETAIL for 40 minutes (thumbs up) or Jeff Quinn talking about it for 3 minutes (nothing against gunblast)

    I'm like TNP lite.;)

I have quite of bit of respect for the guy and hold his opinion fairly highly. When I need an unbiased review of an item, I usually check out him and for a less formal but fun review I see Hickok45.

His ounces argument has a tendency to get old though. He acts 2 1/2 ounces makes all the difference.

Yeah, nobody probably has ever lived or died because of 2 1/2 ounces but weight is still an issue. I've been on a few too many hunting trips, camping trips, etc where I packed to much sh!t, the ounces turned to pounds and I had a hell of a load on my back.

I agree wholeheartedly that ounces here and there add up to pounds. He could probably shave a few pounds off of the mall ninja-esque getup though.

A tac vest and .511 pants probably aren't the best WROL choices.

Yeah, I mean I use some molle stuff but I simply don't do "tactical load out systems".

Nothing wrong with using the stuff in moderation, I'd like to pick up a few things when funds allow. probably just a few mag pouches to begin with.

Oh my gosh, in per molle years, I kept my mags and stuff loose in an army surplus satchel. When molle came out and I tried using a vest with mag pouches, I was amazed by how easy it was. I get a lot of my gear at the army navy store. A mil spec vest or surplus vest can run you 25-50 bucks and pouch prices definitely vary.

If you go army surplus, you can save cash. The brands like Blackhawk!, 5.11, maxpedition are expensive. The mag pouches aren't too bad( I saw some for 12 dollars for. 2 mag pouch)
