So I have a few guns that I am interesting in selling to purchase two new handguns. However, I don't know which guns I should let go/sell. So, if you had to pick at least two guns from this list, which two would you sell?

    Winchester Chief Crazy Horse
    Winchester Legendary Frontiersman
    Smith & Wesson 1917 .45 revolver
Ruger Blackhawk .22 Revolver (three screw)
    Colt .22 Single shot revolver

I would sell whichever .22 is less fun and whichever rifle is less accurate. Just my opinion.

I am kind of lending that way since they are collectables and I don't want to shot them. I really don't want to keep a gun that I am not going to shoot.

Personally I never sell any guns, but as to which one I would buy from you, how much you want for the Colt?:)

personally i wouldn't sell any of them. each of them looks to be a hard or expensive to replace in the future as regret sets in.

The S&W can always be replaced if u choose, easily. The Indian Win. is fugly and don't tend to really be collectible (Do you even have the box you'd need to be collectible? The other Win. is a sweet looking rifle though!).

    I'm with Tow.

My reasoning. these were made to be collectors. This seldom works.
They sit unused, or get used and are no longer 'new'
Real Collectors are seldom marketed as 'collectors'

Someone will want them. The SA's are keepers.

This^^. If they were simply run of the mill, common guns, I would say "go for it." In this instance, each one is at least uncommon and not something you can simply go and order at the LGS.
Note: I'm a bit of a pack rat, not just guns either. I've never sold a gun.

I'm with these guys. I couldn't sell any of my guns. Of course, I don't have many. It's not like your about to lose the house or are starving. I couldn't sell any gun to buy another. I'd try to save for it.

Have you ever seen the movie "Sophie's Choice"?

Personally I'd only sell if I was in a major bind. Out of all of those (this may be unpopular) I'd sell the Blackhawk, and the Crazy Horse.

If you are absolutely, positively, 100% sure you must sell.

My choice would be the rifles as others have suggested.

    But,

I think of all the guns I have disposed of for various reasons,

    and,

    and Damn I have regrets.

    PS,
I have several guns I haven't fired in years.
If I get rid of any one of them it would be like losing a friend.
Which shall I get rid of,
    the Luger,
    the Sako,
    the Model 12,
    the H K,
    the old S & W 45.
    the Anschuts, spelling?
    ????
and my Granddaughter will disown me.

If it were me, I'd sell the rifles. I don't want any guns that I'm not gonna shoot. While they might be collectable, they would be useless to me. I had rather turn then into something I could use and enjoy. I always said that I would never sell a gun, but a little over a year ago, I sold my first one because I didn't use it. Once I turned it into something I did use, I realized it wasn't so bad after all. I have since sold off all the guns I didn't use and have not regretted it. :)

That's the truth! An authentic "Indian rifle" would be all beat to crap with some crude decorations. Now that might be worth keeping!

I would sell anything that just gathers dust. The rifles would be first to go for me. There just flash with no special dash, No better than a plain jane '94

Thanks for all the input guys, I think I am going to have to get rid of the rifles. If I do decide to keep one of the rifles, I am going to keep the legendary frontiersman and I'm going to shoot the daylights out of it. If something is going to be in my safe then I'm going to use it.

To answer some of the questions, yes I do have the boxes and all the paper work for the rifles.

Thanks again for all the input!
