I have my Winchester model 190, its an awesome little .22 but I am looking for something a little more fun.

This is nothing I can afford anytime soon (or even find one), but I'm curious to see what people think. I'm looking to stray away from the standard rifle. I want to be a little different have something no one has really seen before (at least around here).

Which would be the better gun? I narrowed it down to two american made companies. Not going to buy any of that Taiwan or Portuguese knock off crud...

Thats sweet. I would love some more info on that modification.

Where to get it and how much does it cost? I understand of it was a simple stock modification, but I dont understand the soft air conversion?

Its also a good chance ill be selling my Hi point 995 to buy one of these. So I would actually like more ideas like this.

It really is that easy. The hard part is hitting a target with it.

The GSG-5 is a much different story though. They're supposed to be really nice shooting little guns, if you can figure out what ammo they like.

Really? Would federals work? They seem to like every gun I own..

I really like that GSG-5. I would also upgrade the stock on it. I really do want accuracy and reliability to though .

but a basic .22 for 500 bucks thats not accurate at far distances is a little pricey for me, they are nice lookin though. read up on them in shotgun news they sound like hella fun to shoot

Well, what else should I consider for about that price or less that is 'cool' looking.. Is there any reason to avoid the Kel-Tec?

not that i know of, ive heard nothing but good about kel-tec, i just think there the uglyest things. if you want cool looking go with the gsg-5 iwould, if there full size replicas of the 9mm's or the .40's theres alot of aftermarket stuff you can get for em

Well I just got a hi point, and I like it okay. Great for the money I spent for it. But I think I want a .22.

I really didnt realize how fast I can go thru 200 rounds of 9mm. I mean that $40 bucks + tax. Where as I can shoot all day for $15 dollars on .22.

And because Its just plinking, I will live with the .22. its really a fun calibure I want to stay with for right now.

Do you have any other options for guns that can be modified to look really cool, and out of the ordinary. I know the Ruger 10/22 has alot of mods. But a buddy already has one I can shoot whenever. And yes its modified. is there a different gun I should consider?
