Other than the NRA, what gun groups should be supported by joining?

I'm NRA, GOA, and SFA.

But I quit NAGR, after they pestered the crap

out of me.(it comes out on it's own,

if you give it a couple hours) This came to

a climax after they sent me a registered letter

which looked, from the outside, like I was being

taken to court and sued by somebody.

NAGR is a shameless, shilling, bottomless pit

of alarmist begging mail, and if you make the mistake

of signing up, they will go out of their way to punish

you for joining their organization.

While NRA has its problems, it is a 600lb gorilla - and it is the only 600lb gorilla in the fight. No one has as much lobbying power as the NRA and no one even comes close. So my advice is that every gun owner should belong to the NRA and at least one other organization that they believe in. In this way, each gun owner is represented currently and supports a smaller organization trying to come up in the fight and make a difference.

I guess I'll be the odd man out here.

The only gun group that the democrats FEAR is the NRA.

Instead of giving money to whole a bunch of groups, I give it all to the NRA.
