I know i can order online but does gun shops or any other store carry them?
Only you can look at your local stores
My local dealer carries sum but------------------------
Never seen (or looked) at Walmart or Academey - make sum phone calls--
I got SnapCaps at the local gun store. I imagine most gun stores will carry them.
I would imagine most gun stores would carry them, I know my local gun shop does but it's a bit of a drive for you.
My LGS carries them as well, just no hollow points.
Cabela's, Bass Pro Shop, Gander Mtn., Scheel's, Mills Fleet Farm, etc.
Make your own...
Punch out the spent primer from the brass. Then fill the primer opening with a dab of silicon.
Every time I go to a gun show there's someone selling singles for $2-3 each in a variety of calibers. That's the way to, as I have no need for the multiple round packs sold online.
Just curious...what do people generally use these for?
Used for dry firing safely.
it gives the firing pin something soft to hit. empty brass with silicon in the primer cavity. i think they're a great idea for working on trigger control etc. but i wouldn't waste your money on them when you can make them yourself.
I found some snap caps at a local gunshow.
I buy mine at the local gunshops.
Loved the .357 Mag snapcaps when I was taming the trigger of my EAA Windicator.
My gun shop didnt have any in stock but they told me to call bass pro shop. i did and they have them so i am good; thanks for the info
I use snap caps when practicing with my revolver.
