I'm liking everything I read about that one.

I don't know if I'll ever buy another handgun. I'm really pretty content.
Maybe if those Extar guys would make a 10...

I've only put 150 rounds through it and it's fun to shoot, no problems so far.

I own one and from my experience they still aren't ready for prime time. Interesting collector piece though.

SP101s are great guns. I love my Wiley Clapp version.

I wish mine had a 3" bbl and adjustable sights.
But heck, I have 3 Security Sixes, I don't know why I ever bothered to get an SP.

A Security Six is on the list for me. I've seen some good deals on a couple lately.

They are the most under-rated and in my opinion most useful practical handgun yet devised.
But I must confess, my 10mm 1911 is growing on me like a fungus! Man I heart that thing.

I saw a 6" blued one for $400 yesterday. Pretty doggone tempting.

I have a 4" blued I'd let go for $450, but the fees would kill the deal.

I'm honestly not in a position to get one. A deal I had setup to sell a couple guns fell through on me.

If I happen across one, I’d pick up a S&W Mdl 686 silhouette. I just don’t have one and think they are cool.

I have one of the barrels, and might buy another early Mdl 66, and frankengun it. I picked up the barrel off eBay a couple of years ago. That way I’d get the rebated cylinder, and it shouldn’t be too hard to cut the notch to pin the barrel.

Doesn't matter, by the time we paid a couple FFLs and shipped it it wouldn't be worth it.

    Smith&Wesson, M&P 9 compact Gen 2.0

Its about the size of a Glock 19.
So still small enough to carry concealed (presupposing a good holster) but substantial enough to be a capable platform.

PS: I already have a couple of Smith & Wesson M&P fullsize .. and they are solidly service grade handguns.. and I like the ergonomics of he M&P handgun line.

LGS has a Colt Trooper. It was in really rough shape when brought in. They fixed up the innards, put a cerakote finish on it. It has no value as a collector, but it locks up tight and would be a good shooter. If the price is right, I'll have to make room in the safe.
