Thank you. Did yours malfunction? I am a little leery about it, I had an SR9 that had to be sent back for a recall, and I was never happy with the accuracy.

It had to go back to Ruger twice and finally they sent me a new one which I quickly sold, i don’t recall what exactly it was doing but it would not fire after 3 rounds, took the firing pin out and there were brass shavings back in around the firing pin.... I had a SR9 that never malfunctioned, I sold it wish I never did

Was at the LGS yesterday, got to handle the new M&P Shield EZ 9mm. I have to say, it is a very nice piece. As advertised, it's easy to rack, mags are easy to load, and S&W finally got the trigger right. It's not all sweetness & light. Not crazy about the grip safety, and the mags won't fit my Gen 1 and vise versa. It's bigger than the older Shields too, likely meaning different holsters. All that said, the last thing I need is another carry gun, especially a 9mm, (have three now), but I'm sorely tempted. Probably a good thing there's serious snow today, I'd be headed back over there, credit card in hand.

Just saw review on the new Glock .22 LR (Model 44?). Quite pricey but possibly a companion to my .40 Glock 22's. Interesting. BUT ! Bud's Guns has the new Ruger LCP in .22 LR at $299 - still a bit high for me. They're offering a choice of serial numbers.

Really enjoy those small .22 semi autos. Handy, easily concealed, and cheap ammo enables me to shoot them a lot, subsequently getting really good with them. My little Colt Mustang and Kel-tec P3AT are .380's, ammo much more expensive.

Same here Mr. John, love my LCP ll in 380. Should be only a month or 2 that I'll have that LCP in 22lr. The other Ruger that is fun is the SR22.
Go for it, we ain't getting any younger

Thanks Rifling, I do like it. It’s a 629 Freefall, the picture is pretty bad and hard to tell.

Well it was more trade than purchase but recently acquired a full size Ruger American 45 ACP.
Ran some target ammo through it to get used to the feel of it , put some Golden Sabres through it to check function with em.
Been carrying it for a couple weeks as an edc and primary pistol when on church security.

    Really really like it.

Any particulars with the Sabers? I have to admit I was surprised when they were showing up as part of the pistol ammo cleanout at my WM. Talon's back, but last I had heard it is LEO.

Got them locally, not at WM. 19.50 for box of 25.

If your asking about how the American handles them fires them without a hicup.

I kind of figured it would. I've owned several ruger sr9c 40c and sr9.

All of them ate everything i put in em without fail.
