I have been thinking of a Ruger SP101 in 9mm. Have also thought about a S&W Governor in 45lc, 45acp, and .410. If I get one, it will most likely be the Ruger since most of my handguns eat 9mm.

That is my problem Wambli. My LGS has hard to resist used prices. And i seam to always find the slightly used and never fired ones. Although the last 3 purchases 2 were new lol.

Been looking for a nice S&W 5903 at a decent price. Found one a few months ago but it was pretty rough.

I have its cousin a 915 and it's a fine pistol, the 5903 is a bit more refined.

I'd love to find a Commander sized 1911 in 38 super also.

I think that's a pretty good price. It came with some .410 shells too. Looked like the moonclips hadn't even been removed from their bag.

I'm sorry you lost out on that offer 1911NUT, I honestly hate when people do that. They've done it to me quite a few times, where you text them and you both agree to meet up on a specific day only to find out on that day that you do meet up, they just randomly sell it off to someone else. I mean really? It sounds like you contacted him first about the gun. Usually those same types of people that you just dealt with, I dealt with them numerous times and they normally never text me back when we both agreed on a trade or a sale and lets meet here or there.

I mean if they've changed their mine and don't want to sell the item or trade, fine by me. But alot of them are just lazy and don't even bother to text back.


As for me probably a Glock 17, 19 or newer. Or after some time with my new SD9VE, if I want I may keep it. If not, I may sell it and add some cash for a 1911 in .45ACP.

I own and carry the 365, a good ol smith is always on the list, I actually try and budget around finding a rare one.
I did however order up a new engraved E series 1911 from big blue
