Firearm looks like a CETME, but the mags are H&K.
CETME will accept H&K mags with modifications.

I am with JJ! Looks like a modified CETME Rifle to me from the picture. Also be sure the barrel is 16 inches long. That does not include the Flash Hider or Break unless it is *permanently attached? Can't tell in the picture. And does it shoot with out malfunctions. And of course how much you like it?
But "man" that is a fine 10-22 also you have there! "Sharp and inexpensive to shoot! As you know 308s are significantly more expensive.

Does anybody remember what the deal was with Century Arms & some CETME quality issues? I don't recall enough to say, and i think it has been a long while.

Federal Arms FA-91. Generally regarded as a third rate HK 91. Cast aluminum upper reciever. They seem to work ok for a while, but eventually the barrel pin will wallow the upper and work loose. Tell your friend I'll trade him a High point .380 for it.
