Hi Folks,
I've decided to get a pistol caliber Beretta storm carbine and just found out there are a few model's to choose from. (92, px4, 2000 etc,)
I dont have any other Beretta's so what's the recommended model? I'm well stock with 9mm so that is the caliber I want for now.
The flat top mod I saw kinda sold me on getting one even though I'll not likely do that modification any time soon. thanks in advance. DC

Mmmm, the only difference in the CX4"s is the caliber. They come in 9, 40, & 45. In addition, you can buy the parts to make the gun take mags from various Beretta pistols. It's not hard to do. If you already have a Beretta pistol, buy the CX4 to match it. Keep in mind that the PX4 has a higher standard mag capacity than the others. Also available is a 30 rd 92 9mm mag. There is almost nothing to be done with the 45 capacity. On the 40, you can convert a 92 9mm 30 round mag into a 20 rd .40 mag.

Stay away from those aftermarket ones, especially Pro Mag. nothing but issues, or at least a crap shoot on reliability.

Hey thank you for clearing that up. I didn't understand the only difference other than caliber was the mag adapter. LGS said they were 3 weeks out and they are being discontinued.

I don't think they are. Check over at the Beretta forum to be sure. There is a specific thread about it, but I have not read it.

You're Welcome.:)
