more barrel = more weight =slower swing,,, however a longer barrel is tighter shot patterns , i think its a personal shooter preference. try out a few and decide for your self , some gun clubs rent em out , try as many as you need till you find your baby .

probaly right auslach but its all about what the shooter wants ,, i like em alittle shorter and with a wider pattern ,, so its all about shooter prefrence.
