i got a pistal grip for my mossburg 500 shot it 5 times then removed it. i found that all it did was make it imposibail to reach the saftey, and hurt my wrist when i shot the gun wasent even easy to aim eithor i find it way more comfutabial to just shoot with the stock stock unless im doing something wrong

The only gain you get is compact size. You already discovered the disadvantages.

    That's about it.

To be clear you're talking pistol-grip-only! Full pistol grip (semis only to me) and semi-pistol grip shotguns (all the rest) are great!! I even like straight (English) stocks in smaller guages!!!

A pistol grip on a Mossberg has no benefit because of the safety location. So, if someone wants a pistol grip, then the Mossberg is NOT the right choice.

Just like the Winchester 94 has upward ejection, which makes mounting a scope really tough. So, is someone wants a scope, they should get the Marlin 336.

I think Winchester introduced Angle Eject, where the cartridges are ejected not sideways but out of the corner at like a 45-degree angle, and tapped the top of the receivers starting in 1983 for regular scope mounting. OMG, that's 30 years ago -- I feel so old!
