Tell them i hope they brought some body bags. Like Mr. Heston said, "You can take my gun when you pry it from my cold dead fingers."

I'm sure he would. Negative person. Taking guns away is like taking air away from some people.

I would give the guns to them because the guns at the BOL and cache points would cover the loss.

So you'd just hand yours over? What makes you think i wouldn't fight for my 2A rights?

Well it's illegal for any organization to make you register your firearms so hopefully i won't be home when the random knocking starts.

I wouldn't hand mine over. It's my 2A right. They can screw themselves.

Probably not answer the door,or tell them politely to go get a warrant while I patiently wait for their return (wink wink). If it progressed further than that.... My reaction would depend on a lot of factors, who was home and who would I be putting at risk besides me and these officers if I resisted.

If I had fair warning I would probably get out with my guns beforehand or failing that... Hide the ones I don't wish to surrender the best I could, and politely volunteer the ones I would part with and hope they fall for it and then bug out

It's sad but true. California protects the criminals not the people.

Guns? Well sure, I USED to have guns. But then there was this horible, HORRIBLE boating accident...........

Why, yes, I DO have witnesses. About half the folks on the Firearms Talk Forum were on the boat with me that day. Probably why the dang thing sank in the first place.....

I would go get the dictionary for them and explain to the what "relinquish" means, since they must be reading it off a card.
