Does anyone know anything about this rifle. I think it could be a Mauser Special Range Rifle. I did find numbers on the top of the barrel 1M C2 1988 L6916 and under magnification, at the bottom of the end of the barrel M1169 22 cal Romania and this symbol /R\.

There are no markings on the 5 rd magazine. I'm looking for extra mags

It has a cleaning kit stored in the butt of the stock.

The safety is mounted on the bolt itself.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Curt

Looks to be a Romanian made military trainer rifle from what I can see of it.

From what I can see, you have a Romanian M69 military training rifle. But as said, pictures would be good.

I looked up the M69 and that is indeed what this rifle is. Also found the mags I was looking for, video on tear down and cleaning and a wealth of other info.

Thanks Guys,

Do the serial numbers match? They rarely do. I bought one for my youngest years ago. The fact that the serial nunbers all matched did it for me. He loves the rifle and is very good with it. The 3 leaf rear sight is VG.

The only numbers I could find were on the barrell. I didn't see any on the bolt or under the trigger plate. That doesn't mean they aren't there just that I didnt see any.

The bed was the closest thing I could find with a light back ground. Don't get any ideas. lol
