Mom pulled this out of her closet last night. What is it?
Ummm- daughter's boyfriend?
No pics with your post, and no hints, that's the best I can do......
here it is.
it has one proof mark, and is stamped 1943.
Dang, be nice! Sorry the pic didn't load the first time around, but it is up now!
Car54< I just got a phone call, and I think you are correct.
it looks like a mosin but the stock looks modified...........maybe a carbine?
Yep. It looks to be a MN M44 that was sporterized. Oh well, neet find in Moms closet.
OOps, I was wrong. It is an M38, not a M44. It is stamped 1943, and the magazine is identical to a 38.
Dude I feel sorry for that rifle being trapped in a closet for who knows how long, you should take it out and introduce it to the sunshine again.
What he said.
My question is why does your mom keep that in her closet??
Don't you have something hidden in the closet?
What kind of shoes are those?
Hell, Mom said she thought it was mine. I told her no, so it must have been her ex-husbands. Oh well, it's mine now.
The shoes are New Ballance.
I know nothing of MN. I guess I have a whole new world to learn about.
Thanks for all of the help.
Awesome, a gun for nothing. Wish I had your good fortune. Enjoy it.
Any more closets in the house ???
