What is a good ar 15 for under 850$?

    Several M&P rifles. The Sort can be bough for $600 + or - and leaves nothing needed behind.

    If your gonna spend less than $900 I suggest in high regards the M&P15 Sport. I am very impressed with mine. Great rifle.

    If you can find a Stag in your price range, get it. You will not be disappointed with Stag.

    S&W M&P. I was going to get one until they sold out @ my LGS. A lot of rifle for the money.

    Don't get an Olympic. I sighted in one for a neighbor, all I could get was a 3-4 inch group at 30 yards, and was almost out of adjustment on the windage to do that. :p

    Windham weaponry for sure 849.99 with carry handle. I love mine and have had no trouble with it.

    Stay away from this ^^^^^ some have problems some dont , stay with a aluminum receiver and it will out last you .
    For the money your looking to spend its going to be hard to beat the PSA for quality . I own 3 PSA rifles and they will eat what ever you put to them , steel or brass, I have had no issues with any of them and I have one rifle thats had over 6000+ rounds thru it
    The first rifle I put the link to will leave you room in $$$ for a scope , RDS and ammo . now go get it ;)
    Heres what I suggest , this one will come ready to shoot , iron sights and a bargain price compared to some of the other crap that out there .

    Avoid the carbon 15. Go with the S&W m&p 15. A friend of mine just bought one for $700. Only features missing was the forward assist, and the dust cover. ( who really ever uses either anyway. )
    $700 bucks and you got yourself a damn fine AR. Cheers.

    M&P 15 Sport is the very most in value at around $650. I've been looking for one for months. But nobody has them right now. Doesn't have a dust shield or forward assist, and I'm glad it doesn't. Smith &Wesson is way behind on this model. Eventually production will catch up. Then I'll spring for one. I refuse to pay an inflated price from Gunbroker.com etc.

    I just bought a Troy AR at Dick's sporting good for 799.00. It is loaded with tons of after market parts and is 300.00 off this week only. It is sweet
