I trust my Sig Sauer .380 ACP sub compact which happens to be the only firearm i own right now. Hopefully in tax time i will also have a 1911 in .45 acp. I trust my .380 because the ballistics are good and it has a light controllable recoil that my wife can handle if i dont happen to have the firearm on me or im not at home.

My Sig Sauer P226r. I have always had a P226 since I was 18. I am 43 now. This one is my fourth. It is reliable, never misfires, and very accurate. It has proven itself to me in real world situations.

At home I don't trust handguns. I have a couple shotguns and an AR.

Carry is mostly with a Glock 19 or 26. When it's hot out and I can't pack anything bigger, I go with a Ruger LCP. When it's cold, heavy jacket weather I alternate with service sized pistols. Glock 17 or 21, Beretta 92, 1911, Sig 220. I trust any of them.

A Glock G30 and a .38 snub, if you ask it this way. Personal security is often discussed upside down, with the focus on guns. I trust our safety to our vigilance and judgement first. Absent that, your gun can be a danger to yourself in several different ways.

Out in the world, it's a Ria 2011 single stack in .45 with a tlr-1 on it. At home, it's my Diamonback Ar. Handguns are for when you don't expect trouble. One percent chance or higher of problems is when the long guns come out.

I trust the first gun I can get my hands on. Be it a Model 60 Marlin or one of my carry pistols. All of my guns are reliable. The one who shoots accurately, first wins.

My wife has a Bersa 9mm thunder compact pro. It has proven to be reliable & accurate I know if I'm not around she can confidently protect herself. As for myself I swap around between carrying a Taurus 1911, Springfield XD 45 Tactical, & a FNS .40.

Glock 23 is my everyday carry and what I primarily use for home defense.

I have my M&P 9 in my nightstand drawer, which is my open carry weapon. We also have a Glock 19 staged where we can get it fast if not in bed. I have both in holtster w a spare mag so ammo count shouldn't be a issue. I have three Critical Defense rounds followed by alternating FMJ and Critical Defense in case I need to fire trough a barrier. I do plan to replace my 9mm w a fullsize .45 w at least a 5in barrel and minimum of 12 rounds when my cashflow permits.
