When I go pheasant hunting, I take my Benelli Montefeltro 20 ga.

If I go to LA during deer season, I take my .280 Handi Rifle and my 6.8 carbine.

When vacationing in the spring, I prefer my Benelli SBE 2 3.5" 12 ga.

If I go to LA during the summer, I take my Shimano fishing rigs. They may not be guns, but they will slay the speckled trout. :D

    Always be prepared.

We got back from a trip a month ago. I had to go to/through Kalifornistan so I went light. 357, 2 SR9c's, Sig238, 10-22, 357 rifle and a Mini 30. Normally I would have the AR and a 12 gauge too.

My last vacation was 2 years ago. My youngest daughter was getting married, so myself and two others drove to Marylandistand from Nashville, Tn.
Of course we were all armed. Va. and W.Va. have reciprocity with Tn., so no problem there. Md. though is like NY. If you have a gun you're a criminal.
We stopped at the Va/Md line right near Harpers Ferry in a big dirt lot next to a market and disarmed.
It was pretty comical. Three people getting out of a brand new rental Cadillac, opening the trunk and clearing weapons to put in the lock boxes.
Wish there was a picture of that.
    Along for the ride were a Sig P239, a Colt Gov't .380, a Bersa Thunder .380, and a Ruger Sr9C.

No vacations, home is our resort of first and last resort, been there, done that anyways! The rest of the world is too screwed up for visitation and the bank accounts too bare to use on things that dont keep us alive!

Besides, I live in the boonies, have about 9 acres of comfortable surroundings and that way I dont have to advocate my throne to Uncle Sugar while Im out!
