This was a thread that was posted on one of the other forums I am on. I thought it was a pretty good at letting others get to know you and answer the question everyone of us has asked at least once about another member.

Mine is pretty boring it's my first and last name. I wanted to be a little more personal on this forum, but on other forums it is "Hallboss"...

When we did active shooter training, I was always choose the "Hallboss" position, which was the guy with the shotty covering the hallway when the room was being cleared. Then when I was desked for an injury, my desk was at the end of hallway...Since then I was the "Hallboss"...aka hall monitor..lol.

So what does your screen name mean?

MoHawk has been my riding name for years. Most people in a bike club have a nickname of sorts.... Mine used to be "Jazzy" since my name is Jeff. Gotta love the old Fresh Prince of Bel-Air references haha. Anyways, I was the guy in charge of our routes on rides which is called a Road Captain. When new guys would ask someone where we were going, they'd say "ask Jazzy". But since the guys were new, They'd point to me and usually my helmet was sitting on top of my head with a mohawk on it and say "mohawk". It ended up sticking after a while.

    "DZSCUBIE"

When I first started on the internet I wanted something about who I was, the DZ stands for Drop Zone, I was very heavy into skydiving for over 12 years and loved the thrill of jumping itself and trying to jump out of as many different aircraft as I could. I've jumped from almost any kind of plane a man can from Cessna, DC-3's to helicopters and hot air balloons. If you have ever seen the remake of Perl Harbor, Tora Tora Tora, well when they brought the guys body back from China and took it out of the DC-3 I have about 100 jumps from that bird.
The scubie is from my being an active diver (SCUBA) for the past 34 years. I even met my wife Linda in a dive shop when I took my son to be certified. I stopped logging dives in the early eighties when I logged my 2,500 dive, I just did not see the point in continuing to waste the time. I still dive whenever I can.

That's it; I guess you can say I'm an adrenalin junkie. :D

Mine is from my love of SCUBA diving. Nitrox is a gas that is used instead of air for extended time under water and the AZ is from the Great State of Arizona where I live.

It's my first name and my last. Pretty creative, huh?

I thought when I joined this forum, I was just gonna dip my toe in, so I didn't really think about it. Turns out I kinda like the place, so I stayed. :)

    CPT Tango

My last job in the Army was a 91 Tango Animal Care Spec. 30 waqs my age when I picked the name.

CPT is what my rank should have been in the army. So I picked CPTTango30

I was going to make it CPTKirk because as any supporting member knows I am treky fanboy big time. But I thought about it and thought it was to gay.

On another message board it is CPTMurdoc from The A-team.

CA is my Stalag, er, um, I mean State. 357 is my favorite revolver caliber, although I'm pretty fond of the .44 magnum too.

Hey Tango so your a treky huh, we have a original Star Trek pin ball machine (actually it's my father-in-laws) that we took to a Star Trek convention and had some of the original cast sign, Checkov, I believe Uhura and Gene Roddenberry Jr and a few others on the backglass.

    Mohawk No

I was a 91 Tango Animal Care Spec.

I was an E-4 SPC should have been CPL but douche bags above me didn't know how to read a reg. I held an E-6 slot for 18 months. I should have been advanced to CPL rom SPC.

I say I should have been a CPT because I was that much smarter than any E-5 I served with. SGT didn't like me because I knew what they did and was smarter. E-6 SSG liked me because no matter what I got the job done E-7 SFC Loved me because I was the one SPC that could lead the squad call shots and make things work and I got the job done. in 8 years I never ever failed to complete a mission handed to me.
