i shoot a sig sauer 1911-22. fun gun to fire.
I have a bunch of guns, from a .38 spl derringer with 1.6" barrel to 12-ga shotgun, but really enjoy shooting some of my Ruger single action Vaquero's, Blackhawks, and Super Blackhawk's. I have some semiauto's and defense-type revolvers, and practice with them, but for enjoyment I favor the SA Rugers. .45 Colt (so-called ".45 Long Colt") is my favorite, because it is not abusive to shoot it all afternoon, and it's easy to see the holes in the targets out to 50 yards. (Don't take that to mean I'm any good so far as skill is concerned, I just enjoy doing it).
i've shot everything between a bb gun and an 8 inch howitzer. i love all shooting
My favorite is my Glock but I have a Kahr CM9 for concealed carry (if SLED would ever send me my dang permit, 94 days and counting) and a .22 just for plinking and teaching my kids to shoot.
Mama, the law is clear. SLED has 90 days to issue your permit, or deny with cause. If that is the case, you have the right to appeal. I am a long standing certified instructor. Let me know if I can help.
Something is amiss, it only took 61 days for both my wife and myself. I'd call 803-896-7015 and check on it.
Mostly my Taurus .45 or .40....sometimes my Mini-14..
I'm usually shooting my girlfriends rifle, XT - 22, because it fit my hands better then my .22 did. But soon as I can get to a range, my most shot gun will soon be my 93R17.
