Here's another useless "what" thread that might be fun. I learned to drive in a 62 Ford Falcon, 4 door, pea green, 4 cylinder, 3 on the tree. It burned more oil than gas but I cherished that car as it granted me FREEDOM!

First motorcycle experience was gained on a 60's Montgomery Wards Riverside 250, 2 stroke. The bottom of the gas cap was the oil measuring cup...

Driver Ed, Late 80's, We had Pinto's  or Ford Courier Pick up's all were manual shifter.
Later on in the course, We got road time in Chevy Celebrity's
I took a motorcycle course as well, But I dont remember what it was in Driver Ed, However I rmember learning back when I was about 10 years old on some sort of scooter that resembled a bike.

I learned to drive in two vehicles. The first was my Dad's 1973 Orange Ford F150, straight six, 3 on the tree. The second was my Grandma's 73, green VW bug, 4 banger, 4 speed.

The first motorcycle I was on was a YZ125 back in the day.

I learned to drive on my dad's 1962 Ford Falcon 4 door, tiny inline 6 cylinder, 3 on the tree. My 1st motorcycle was a Suzuki TM100. When I was 15 I built a Sportster basket case.

I'll show my age, I learned to drive on a 1950 Farmall tractor. Went from that to a 1952 Chevy. Wish I had both now.

Lots of Falcons in that list.

Well, i was "taught" to drive at age nine, in a damp pasture, in what would years later become my first car, the family handmedown 1965 VW beetle, approximately 40hp. I will miss that thing until i die.

Learned to drive at age 7 on an Allis Chalmers WD. Had to jump on the crank to start it. Went from that to a '52 Ford F1 pickup, starter button on the floor. Could barely reach it, had a heck of a time pushing the clutch in far enough to disengage.:)

I learned to drive in a 1965 Buick Wildcat. That thing was a beast. I was a tiny teenager, 4'11" and about 100 lbs. Everyone laughed at me in that HUGE car.
