SchleTek 2in1 Gun Tuning oil and the SchleTek Sniper Grease for the polymer pistols.
    Works really nice

In the end, except WD40, all lubs are ok. It`s only a matter of personal preference.

I have a 4 ounce bottle of Starrett light tool oil that I bought when I worked in a machine shop.

It works as good as anything else and I think it cost me 5 bucks.

Mobil 1 Synthetic oil and grease is great for ARs and Shotguns. Slip 2000 for the handguns. Rem oil for the bolt action rifles.

WD-40 never claimed to be a lube! WD-40 stands water displacement and 40 is the number of attempts at a distributing a legit product.

Yup, a small dropper, bottle, with a nice needle nozzle.
Will last mnay years, the synthetic stuff is great.
Non petroleum base, smooth as silk lube.

Yup a quart will last numerous years!

I'll stick with oils that have been formulated for firearms. Oil like Mobil 1, or any other motor oil confuses me as to where I need to install the oil filter. ;)

i've used Militec 1 for many years. My gun collection was untouched by human hands for periods as long as two years while i worked overseas. Militec 1 protected them very well.

    Not particular here.
3n1, Lucas gun oil, Remoil, WD40, Hoppes oil and grease.

Have shot hundreds of rds at a time when training church security.

Never a problem with any of em.
Gun lubes get alot of overthinking.

I guess if I was going to hang my hat on just one probably be Lucas gun oil.

Kroil to loosen anything metal (might even work for constipation). Amazing results on old farm equipment, other stuff you've tried to take apart. Buy two cans. Once your buds see how it works, it goes fast. It does appear to evaporate or keep spreading/creeping .
