Never was much into reading but just recently got back into it.

Almost done with reading "Unbroken" by Laura Hillenbrand. And just bought "American Sniper" by Chris Kyle off of eBay so I'm excited to start reading that.

    What about you guys?

My favorite writer is definitely Jack London though, I've read just about everything he's wrote multiple times. I think my favorites of his are "To Build a Fire" and "Children of the Frost" Screenshot_20200205-194336_Google%20Play%20Books.jpeg

Yup, I'm really close to finishing it. I saw the movie trailer, but am wanting to finish the book first before watching the movie. I have watched American Sniper on the other hand and dident even know there was book until after. So I'm really anxious to start on that as soon as I'm finished with Unbroken.

I started “The Gun” about the development of the AK-47 but the guy basically worships the AK, thinks the M-16 is junk, I stopped reading it but might start back up sometime soon

At present, "Cannery Row" buy John Steinbeck. TLMrs and I like to read aloud a few pages at bedtime.
On my own, "Betty Zane" by Zane Grey. I know little about the early western frontier of the pre-1800s, and am interested in Lewis Wetzel.

I finally got my hands on a copy of Boys Single Shot Rifles by James Grant.
I have 5 books that he wrote on the subject, great read for the vintage single shot rifle collector.

Just finished rereading The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas, pere.
A great story of hope , vengeance, and forgiveness.
If you do read it, don't read an abridged version! Look for the complete book.

In my hardly humble opinion, if you have not read

The Art Of War, attributed to Sun Tzu
    The Prince, by Niccolo Machiavelli
The True Believer, by Eric Hoffer

you are not prepared to have a valid and reasonable opinion about the events of the world
