I read in an article, that after a buttoning rifle, the barrel needs to be relieved of stress, because after the outer machining of the barrel, the barrel can be over-mentioned in the muzzle brake part and also in the chamber part. Wouldn't the obvious answer to this be to change the order and do the grooves last? Of course there must be more consequences and so this answer is not so obvious.
