But it sure tosses 2 3/4 12 gauge ammo.
My DVD BluRay divider. Penn Arms Striker 12, not to be confused with a cobray street sweeper.
This is so light in the recoil that if you can hold it up like a pistol you can shoot all 12 rounds, no problem.

So what are you getting at? Not a shotgun....I looked it up, and it appears maybe it was re-classified as a DD? So it needs to be registered? Not really sure what the thread is about. Please clarify, it does look like an interesting gun.

OK. But we'd like to know more, and maybe have some context. I'll tell you what, though, if I had a gun like that, it sure wouldn't be separating DVD's...

The ATF does say it's a destructive device, and has to be registered with them, and tax paid.

It has been reclassified as a paintball gun. Next week someone will have a model 60 22 lr mounted in it.

    Is the barrel 18" long?

It is not a "Short Barreled Shotgun". It IS a Destructive device.

    Why? From the ATF-

The USAS-12, Striker 12, and Streetsweeper shotguns were classified as destructive devices pursuant to section 5845(f) because they are shotguns with a bore of more than one-half inch in diameter which are not generally recognized as particularly suitable for sporting purposes.

It's registered as a DD with the ATF, and has a 12 inch barrel. Yes I have form 4 and it is my favorite show off gun.
It was in pretty bad shape when I bought it. I sent in in to Penn arms to get it fixed and did not expect them to do all the work that they did to it. New shroud, new barrel, new paint job, new safety, about the only thing they didn't change was the serial number.

They did that for under a hundred bucks.
    And added the muzzle brake.
At 20 feet 00 buck has the spread of a small salad bowl.
It sits under my TV stand per my wife's request.

So, basically, because you can't shoot clays with it, it's a DD.

If the ATF rules that my 4 pound dog is a cat, it is a cat. No questions asked. The dog doesn't care, neither do I. :)

  17. Yep, the ATF basically said, it's too heavy, too wide and too tall to be "sporting." Which is kinda funny when not that much longer ago they ruled a short-barreled shotgun wasn't 'military enough' to not be regulated.

Just a couple more pics of my DD.
It does ok for clays. I still have the 18" barrel.
I called the ATF and they said I could put any sized barrel I want on it.
No more paperwork needed. I'm just waiting for Penn Arms to get the 7.5" barrel and shroud back in stock.

I think you should re-read that sentence. You may have misstated yourself or something.
