This is a hard one.
Johnny Cash vs Hank Williams Sr.
See this thread for rules and what not.
This is a toughie, but as much as I love Johnny Cash, Hank Sr is The Man!
Who's Hank Williams?

cash hands down. cant stand country but i will stop the radio scan if its johnny
Hank "Lovesick Blues", "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry", "Cold, Cold Heart", and "I Saw The Light".
Cash was best late in life when paired with Rubin.
Thing is, Cash got a lot of inspiration from Hank, as did a LOT of top C&W stars. Hank died young, or he would have had as long a career as Cash or George Jones. Just sayin'.
This is REAL Country music, not that pop/rock crap the current stars are singing.
Not gonna argue.
Cash all the way.
I like Cash but I think Hank was a much better performer over all.....
Hey, it's SHI's 5000th post everyone!!!! 5,000 nonsensical ravings of a lunatic mind!!!
Y'all don't know anything about country if you put Cash over Hank Sr. Not a candle.
This was tough, very tough, but Hank IS the man!
I'm with scubie on this one.

I cringe every time I hear Hank Jr trying to sing one of Hank Sr's songs, because he just plain can't do any of them justice. And Jr's kid is even worse when he tries.
Giving this the bump
Damn...This one as really hard. But I went with the Cash man.
Hank Williams influenced every form of popular music today, not just C&W. You can trace everything back to the music he performed.
This really is tough because I'm a HUGE Johnny Cash fan. Tango, if your poll blows one of these guys out now and later you bring in a Chesney we're gonna have issues.
