Hey what are the thoughts of the weatherby vanguard.
Great rifles for the most part
The weatherby vanguard is a great rifle that uses the howa 1500 action. I own a howa myself and it's super reliable and super accurate.
Another note: i'm not a huge fan of the weatherby stock. The howa came with a rubberized hogue stock, which is extremely comfortable. If youre keeping your options open take a look at the howa aswell, considering theyre basically the same rifle
Or a marlin x7 depending on the caliber your wanting
My howa is in .223. Super accurate at 100 yrds with just a 4x scope. (4-12x40 coming for x.mas)
MULIE- PLEASE DO NOT QUOTE SPAMMERS! That means we not only have to blow them up, but come modify your post.
C3Ahhhh why or how does this come in to play with questions about a weatherby????????????
Sighted Spammer, spattered same. Again, please do not quote spammers- just look on their post for the box with the ! symbol click that. One of us will be along directly to emplace the scuttling charges.
Troll lookin to be weatherby splattered
My Weatherby Vanguard is a .308 and I love it. It definitely is more accurate than I am capable of. Only gripe is the recoil which I expected on light synthetic stock. It is manageable, just more than I'd prefer.
I have a Vanguard in .243. I put a Bell & Carlson Medalist stock
with the aluminum bedding on it and it made a significant difference
in the rifle's accuracy. It shoots way better than I am capable of.
Heck, now I want to see the original spam post. I'm so confused.
It was the one about the asian escorts....again
Oh, yeah I've seen that one. Where's the guy with the rubber band guns? I'll bet those two could get together and really have some fun!
I've got a Vanguard .308 and have been really happy with it. It will hold a solid 1" pattern at 300 yards off a bench and bags (not tried it beyond 300 yards). I've had it for many years and never had a single issue.
I'd be willing to trade it for the right Asian escort though.
I think he took the hint. Either that or he hasnt swam back across the pond
Be careful with that wish cuz you might catch the black VD.
For a rifle that shoots like that, the escort would just be out of business. Many bars provide the same service for the cost of a 12 pack.
1" at 300 yards, I'd move the target on out a little farther just to see what it can do.
Which one? Was it the one who always writes poetry and puts the links into the poem?
Rubber band guns? I guess I missed that one.
Yes that one and you didnt miss much
Yeah, the guy had some really cool rubber band guns, the same as I see at gun shows set up for the kids.
I'd find some pics of some similar, but he really got some folks (including me) heated with the way he seemed to be posting all over the place. He actually had one "I have this really cool old gun, how much is it worth?" Some one actually replied "about $2.50"
The product was neat, but the guy was a stone cold spammer.
Anyways, we are WAY off topic. So sorry OP.
