Wanting Value on Old S&W

    I inherited an old Smith & Wesson .38 CTG with 5 screws on the face plate which I've read indicted it is pre-WWII. The Model # is V 245386 and has U.S. Navy marked on the top just above the revolving chamber.. Any help would be appreciated... Thanks, JD

    Thanks for the response... It still has a lanyard loop on the butt.
